Online interval and meditation timers

These free online timers help with workouts, focus and quiet time. Interval switches between effort and recovery. Tabata runs short, hard rounds with quick rests. EMOM starts a new set every minute.

For study or work, Pomodoro splits your time into focus and breaks. For meditation, soft bells mark the time, so you don't have to watch the screen. Choose one end bell for a quiet sit, or interval bells to mark changes in your practice.

Common questions

What are meditation interval bells?

They’re soft sounds at set points in a session. In a 30 minute sit, a bell every 10 minutes gently reminds you to come back to your breath.

Can I use the timers offline?

Yes, once the required files are saved. Open the timer online, reload it, then test an offline reload and a short session. Clearing site data or changing browsers means preparing again.

Is gointervals free?

Yes. There’s no account, no ads and no paid version. Your settings stay in your browser, and you can clear them from the About page.

Does the timer keep going if my phone screen locks?

The timer requests an awake screen, but the browser can refuse. If the same session resumes after sleep, its elapsed position catches up. Sound may be late or missing while locked; closing or reloading the page does not preserve a running session.

What are the keyboard shortcuts?

Space starts, pauses and resumes. Esc asks before stopping, and R asks before resetting. They don’t work while you’re typing in a field.
