Konstruct

Structure in. Autonomy out.

Konstruct gives agents a map of your code and a design and plan to follow — so they can work unattended and come back with something worth reviewing, instead of you babysitting prompts.

How Konstruct Works

Agents don’t fail because they’re not smart enough. They fail because they’re guessing—at how your code fits together, and at what you actually wanted. Konstruct removes both guesses.

Code Graph

The Code Graph combines structure-aware indexing with semantic search so you can explore and query your codebase with precision. Indexing and graph analysis currently cover TypeScript, Python, Java, and Go, with more languages coming.

That connected view helps assistants better understand your code and your project, giving them the context they need to be more effective and accurate.

Thirty-six code symbols falling into four neighborhoods of differing size, each sparsely connected inside itself, with only a few links running between one neighborhood and the next.
Konstruct surfacing a neighborhood of related files as the starting point for a task
Konstruct uses graph neighborhoods to start the agent off on the right foot.
A proposed code change shown inline for review
Changes arrive as reviewable edits grounded in that same graph - not guesses about code it never read.

From Design to Build

Most agents can take a task. Konstruct takes a feature — the kind you’d normally break across a week of your own time. You settle the design together, plan it against your source, and break it into phases with a definition of done at every boundary. Then the Build agent runs it, checked against those definitions phase by phase — and told, at the end, where the gaps are.

  1. 1 Design Write and refine the design Settle goals, constraints and tradeoffs before anyone writes code. A vague design produces a vague blueprint.
  2. 2 Plan Plan it against your code Which files it touches, in what order, and what that puts at risk. Every question answered here is one the Build agent will not guess at later.
  3. 3 Blueprint Give every phase a definition of done Ordered phases and tasks, each with its own written definition of done. Nothing runs until you approve it.
  4. 4 Build Let the Build agent run it It works through the phases in order. Each one is checked against its definition of done before the run moves on.
  5. 5 Review Audit the results It will not always get everything right. The report says what got built, what got missed, and what is worth doing next.
Step 4 in motion: the Build agent working an approved blueprint.
Walk through all five steps

And then it runs without you

Most of the difference between a chat window and a tool is what happens after you stop typing. Konstruct executes an approved blueprint on its own — and the hard part is not the working, it is knowing whether the work actually got done.

  • A fresh session per phase. Summaries carry forward, transcripts do not, so phase six is not mostly a recording of phases one through five. Less context spent on the past means more of it left for the problem at hand.
  • The agent does not get to say it is finished. Asking to close a phase is a request. An independent read opens the files that changed and accounts for every task before anything advances.
  • It can tell stuck from slow. Work that is shrinking gets another attempt; the same failure twice gets handed back to you instead of burning the budget.
The cheap checks may only reject a phase; only an independent adjudicated read can mark it complete. Agent: “this phase is done” Did anything actually change? can only reject Do the build and tests pass? can only reject independent read — the only way to pass
The cheap checks are never allowed to approve anything.

Under the Hood

Most of what makes an agent useful on a real codebase is plumbing nobody advertises. Here is some of ours:

Features

Konstruct is free until 1.0 — no tiers, no paywalls, no usage caps.

🗺️

From Idea to Code

The core workflow: Idea → Design → Plan → Build, with agent assistance at every stage. Each step gives the next one the context it needs to get the work right.

👥

Pair Programming

Work alongside AI assistants in structured sessions grounded in your project's context, designs, and conventions—not a generic chat window.

🐛

AI Debugger

Agent-assisted failure analysis, root-cause tracing, and suggested fixes you can review and ship.

🔍

Code Graph & Search

Konstruct maps how your project actually fits together—what calls what, what depends on what—and lets you search it by meaning as well as by name. Agents get a connected view of your codebase instead of a pile of files.

🛠️

Smarter Tools

Searches, reads and even writes come back with the neighbors and dependents that matter, so agents stop spending turns rediscovering what the graph already knows.
