Matomo your legal and procurement teams can check
Matomo is listed in the SILL, the free software catalogue recommended by the French state, and the CNIL publishes a configuration guide for using it without consent. We set up that configuration for you, under clear contracts your legal and procurement teams can approve up front. Our tools are hosted in Frankfurt, Germany. They store no data from your Matomo instance and only provide management interfaces on top of it.

Should we hire a Matomo agency or a freelance Matomo consultant?
A freelancer can suit a small, well-defined task. Large organisations usually also need a company contract, a GDPR data processing agreement, answers to security questionnaires and continuity over several years. Openmost, a French company, provides these alongside senior Matomo expertise.
Do you work with public bodies and large companies?
Yes. Institutional and large-company clients are a large share of our work. We accept purchase orders, invoice by bank transfer and publish our terms of sale and data processing agreement so they can be reviewed before signature.
Can you work on a Matomo instance we host ourselves, or on Matomo Cloud?
Yes, both. We work on self-hosted Matomo On-Premise and on Matomo Cloud. Some tasks, such as server tuning or archiving, only apply to self-hosted instances.
Do you only work with Matomo?
Matomo is our core business. When your stack requires it, for example during a migration or a hybrid setup, we also work with Google Tag Manager, GA4, Commanders Act, BigQuery and Data Studio. On top of that, we build many connectors that link your Matomo to other tools.

The Openmost suite is hosted in Frankfurt, Germany. It reads your Matomo through its API and your analytics data stays in your own Matomo. Every sub-processor is listed in our DPA.
