Daniel Wagner
Hello! My name is Daniel. I'm a chemical engineer with more than 19 years of experience in the Petroleum Industry working as a Process Engineer. I'm also a late-diagnosed Level 1 Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) person and scored 139 in a WAIS-IV IQ test conducted by a neuropsychologist. I have experience with design, modeling, simulation, evaluation, and operation of petroleum and natural gas processing/transportation facilities. I'm also a software developer with more than 20 years of coding experience, author and maintainer of DWSIM (https://github.com/DanWBR/dwsim). DWSIM is an open-source, CAPE-OPEN compliant chemical process simulator for Windows, Linux and macOS. Built on top of the Microsoft .NET and Mono Platforms and featuring a rich Graphical User Interface (GUI), DWSIM allows chemical engineering students and chemical engineers to better understand the behavior of their chemical systems by using rigorous thermodynamic and unit operation models with no cost at all. Apart from DWSIM, you can find other open-source projects in my repository, check it out: https://github.com/DanWBR/ By becoming a patron, you will support the future development of DWSIM while getting access to exclusive features, including custom-made plug-ins/add-ins which won't be distributed to anyone else except you. The money received will go towards: Supporting me so I can work as much as possible on DWSIM and buy any hardware/software/books/papers/articles required for development and testing. Web hosting and infrastructure setup. Paying other project-related expenses. What the patrons get in exchange: Depending on your supporting tier, you'll get: A huge THANK YOU for supporting DWSIM! Early access to updates Exclusive releases Full version unlock codes for mobile versions (Android/iOS) Full version of paid plug-ins/add-ins Thank you for supporting my work!
