Hugo van Kemenade
Hugo van Kemenade is a Python core developer and the release manager for Python 3.14 and 3.15. He maintains open-source projects such as Pillow, is a PSF Fellow and PEP editor, and organizer of NaNoGenMo, Helsinki Python and PyData Helsinki. As a Sovereign Tech Fellow, he's lucky to work on maintaining critical digital infrastructure full-time. Hugo lives in Helsinki and sometimes cycles on the frozen sea.
Tobias Wrigstad
Tobias Wrigstad is a professor in computer science at Uppsala University, where he researches programming language design and implementation. In recent years, his main interests have been memory management and concurrency safety, which he has explored through type systems and run-time systems. In the context of Python, he currently works on PEP 795 and its intended continuation, as well as garbage collection and data-race freedom in Java, secure compilation for Erlang, and more. He has been a Python user since 2000.

Here is the letter of invitation template in case you require one for visa request:

Fill the empty fields, save as pdf and send it to [email protected] with subject "Letter of invitation". Please also include a picture of your passport for confirmation.
Due to the high increase of requests, we had to change our policy regarding the letter of invitation. Now besides the passport picture we also require a copy of the conference's ticket purchase to confirm the participation in the event.
