Your RAW files are decoded, edited, and exported on your device, never uploaded.
GPU accelerated previews. Every edit lands at your monitor's refresh rate, locally. No spinner, no progress bar, no waiting on a server.
MIT-licensed source on GitHub. No account, no trial, no ads, no subscription, no "Pro" tier you'll be nagged about next month.
The app is deliberately small. Global tone, global color, crop. The things you actually reach for when you're developing a single frame, and nothing else to wade through.

Exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, whites, blacks. Auto detects clipping at both ends and lifts shadows without crushing midtones.
Vibrance is inverse-saturation weighted in the Velvia style; saturation is a clean chroma scale around Rec.709 luma. No magenta skin.
Aspect presets, free ratio, orientation flip, pinch zoom and pan. Your last custom ratio is remembered across sessions.
RGB histogram computed on the GPU in the same shader that draws the preview, so it's always exactly what you're looking at.
Full-resolution PNG, JPG, or 16-bit uncompressed TIFF. The export math is the same math as the preview, so what you see is what you save.
The best moment to edit a photo is usually right after you take it, while the scene is still in your head and the version you imagined is still vivid. That moment rarely happens at a desk. Open Raw Editor goes where the photograph already is: on your phone, on a tablet, on whatever screen is nearby.
Open the app. Drop the file. Push the edits. Save the result. Close the tab and walk away. The next time you come back, it's still a URL, on whatever device you happen to have in front of you.
Not a digital asset manager. There is no catalog, no library, no rating system, no batch processing, no AI sky replacement, no presets marketplace.
This is for the moment between the shot and the share. Triage on the way home, finish on the couch, save the final on the desk. One photo at a time.
