WHY SIGHT, WHY NOW ?

  • Exploration challenges today demand more than incremental improvements. Advanced seismic imaging techniques, particularly physics-rich Full-Waveform Inversion (FWI), are pushing the limits of data, models, and computation.
  • High-Performance Computing is no longer optional; it is a critical enabler for accuracy, scalability, and real-world application.
  • The SIGHT SYMPOSIUM is created to address this intersection, bringing imaging, physics, data, and compute together in one focused global forum.
