The activity feed is embedded from Elfsight, a third party that may set cookies once it loads. Nothing loads until you ask.
1. What this site stores
swimmingbrain.dev sets no cookies of its own. It keeps two small preferences in your browser's local storage: whether you asked for the LinkedIn feed, and a per-tab cache of the public GitHub repository list. Neither leaves your browser.
2. Third parties
- LinkedIn feed: The LinkedIn window embeds a feed from Elfsight only after you press "Load feed". From then on Elfsight and LinkedIn may set their own cookies under the Elfsight Privacy Policy and the LinkedIn Cookie Policy.
- GitHub: The Files window asks api.github.com for the repository list when you open the github folder.
- Fonts: Ubuntu and Ubuntu Mono are served by Google Fonts, which sees your IP address when it delivers them.
3. Managing this
Clearing site data for swimmingbrain.dev in your browser resets the preferences above. Blocking third-party cookies does not break anything here.
