Chrome & Edge extension
Group your tabs
by domain.
Tab Grouper sorts your open tabs by site, leaves the groups you made by hand alone, and can do it on its own. That's it — no account, no dashboard.
How it works
Open it, hit Group, done.
No rules to write, no setup. Open the popup, press Group, and your tabs sort by domain. Turn on Auto to have it run on a schedule.
What it does
Everything in one popup.
No dashboards, no upsells, no account to make.
Auto-grouping
Tidies your tabs on a schedule so you don't have to think about it.
Domain or subdomain
Group broadly by site, or split finer by subdomain. Your call.
Protects manual groups
The groups you arranged by hand stay exactly how you left them.
One-tap actions
Group, ungroup, sort A–Z, collapse, expand — one click each.
Search & jump
Find any tab by title or URL across your windows, then jump to it.
Merge & recolor
Pull scattered tabs into one window and recolor groups.
Why I built it
I'm a developer, so I keep a lot of tabs open — docs, pull requests, the occasional video I'll get back to. The tab managers I tried wanted an account or a setup process just to tidy a window, so I built a simpler one.
It groups by domain in a click, leaves the groups I set up by hand alone, then stays out of the way. I've maintained it since 2023 and still use it every day.
Tidy your tabs.
Free, no account, no tracking. Available for Chrome and Edge.
