Since I haven’t seen much mention of it I figured I would post the CDC’s recommendations for disinfecting surfaces with bleach. It doesn’t take much:
4 tsp bleach per quart of water & wear gloves

For the love of god pay for postdocs' moving expenses. Do you really think they have thousands of dollars saved up to move across the country after being a *grad student*
