Some people have actually been buying some of my designs off #redbubble in the past few days. And it's not just my parents... although they are very supportive. If you want to give me small amounts of money in order to wear some things that I find funny:

samlevdev is an independent artist creating amazing designs for great products such as t-shirts, stickers, posters, and phone cases.

The point of using a framework or library is to "own" less code yourself while still being confident in the functionality. The point of AI coding is to write less code yourself. Why would you trade a solid framework for "more code I don't understand, but am responsible for"?

A framework is an intelligence cache. You could waste tokens reinventing the ORM, cache, queues, auth, routing, etc, or you could just pick a world-class framework.

I don’t know if I agree with this take. Good frameworks are intelligence caches. The production of verifiable high-quality code has a cost to it (insert for now caveat). Frameworks can lower this cost as long as they don’t get in the way of agents.

Apparently nobody ever taught @awscloud what "Opt In" means. According to support it means "an option that's automatically enabled, and which you cannot change through the console UI"

Started playing with @gonedark's "Double" today. Initial thoughts: 1. API is nice and simple 2. Passthru is not makePartial() 3. There's still no good story for read-only classes/properties 4. I'm not clear on why doubling an object wouldn't always passthru.
