It’s hard to put into words (much less a tweet!) how excited and lucky I feel to be working with @segdeha. I deeply appreciate his values and commitment towards building a more inclusive web. I hope we can create something that pushes #a11y forward!

Any site that fires a dialog on a timer (“Session will expire in…”) is in the same boat. Restoring focus falls apart as soon as the user navs to a #hash, clicks, or causes a focused element to be removed from the DOM. We need github.com/whatwg/html/is…

i want to reset the SFNSP after closing a modal that wasn't triggered by interaction with a focusable element (it was triggered by copying something to the clipboard in a situation where doing so should be disabled; the modal lets you enable copy-paste)
