I've seen many articles about how to manage technical debt that suggest nice, easy, solutions that don't work. How about if you throw ethics out the door? Would that help? Here's my answer:
SREs/DevOps and nerds: Please upvote my feature request for VS Code to act like all the other editors when dealing with opening a file name you didn't mean to.
