Day 18 of "30 games in 30 days"! I'm happy with almost all of the games so far, but some of them required SUPER late nights to finish. Puzzle game logic and 3D rotation fry my brain the most. I gotta prioritize elegant concepts so I can keep up the pace without burning out!

Ayy! We doing behind the scenes?? Puffball's placeholders were IMMENSELY helpful for making the music for the scene. He's an excellent director. Here's the music project file with my version of the synced SFX. Just can't believe Puff didn't hire Nicki Minaj to collab 😔lol

Found the animatic with placeholder music for this scene. I think I didn't pull off the sfx syncing as much as I wanted but it was still a fun scene.

I'm making 30 games in 30 days. I design and code each one after work every day! Each one is based on a year of my life, and when I finish making the last one, I will turn 30 years old. 13 days in! Wish me luck making it to the end haha :D

The mini-map in this game has a fancy radar feature, where it reveals where you can find the next letter to make your sign. The map uses hyperbolic tan projection to curve the visuals! Such a neat trick for 2D gamedev.
