It was such a pleasure to talk with @clairegiordano on the #talkingpostgres podcast! We discussed many things - my winding path to becoming a software engineer, agentic coding, how improvisational skills help in software tasks, and of course the VS Code extension for PostgreSQL!

Really enjoyed this, well written and got some laughs. And I agree!

Now might be the best time to learn software development

Glad to see that these two great organizations are joining forces. I worked at Azavea for many years, have worked with both companies building out the Planetary Computer, and have a huge amount of respect for them both. Can't wait to see the awesome things they will do together!

It's true: @Azavea is joining forces with @Element84. Same commitment to open source and open standards. Same focus on technology for good and advancing the state-of-the-art. Much bigger team of talented folks. I am truly excited about the next chapter of our adventure.
