Ever since I saw that Ohio in n out shooting I’ve been scared about getting stuck charging. Happy to see they’ve addressed this.

Tesla has just introduced a new Supercharging safety feature called “Emergency Drive Away,” which allows you to immediately drive away from a Supercharger for safety reasons while your vehicle is still plugged in. Now rolling out via an OTA software update (2026.38.3). Pre-2021

Releasing software is so hard now days without it. Everyone, eng and non-eng, chomping at the bit to push code. But you can't reasonably maintain good software with massive amounts of unchecked crap getting merged all at once.

Increasingly convinced: people who do best with agents are those that are good at shipping things in small pieces. Someone who could ship a feature in 4 commits going to main now does better with agents than the guy who always ended up with a 6k PR on Friday afternoon.
