Lennox was eight months old when the symptoms started. By his first birthday, his appetite was gone, his skin was pale, and his development was regressing. The diagnosis: Langerhans cell histiocytosis, a rare blood cancer. Before he could walk, his world became weekly chemotherapy, steroids, and hospital visits. Thanks to a clinical drug trial, Lennox finished treatment in December. He recently turned three, a milestone his family wasn't sure they'd reach together. His story is one of 1.75 million. Every 3 minutes, another person in the U.S. is diagnosed with blood cancer. Every hour, six people die from it. Some workflows are built like the most controversial matches in football: - No whistle. - No review. - No consequences. Bad requests get through. Exceptions get ignored. Risky actions keep advancing. If your AI workflow cannot stop the bad play, it’s not governed. It’s just fast and ineffective (like Diego Simeone). That isn’t automation - that’s negligence at scale.
