Software Development

Remotely access your agents, terminals, files, localhost ports and browser DevTools from your phone.

About us

Shellular lets you use your entire dev environment & agents from your phone so that you can ship on the go. As software engineering is becoming more and more agentic, it doesn't make much sense that you're chained to your desktop just to ship.

Shellular is now listed on official ACP (Agent Client Protocol) website as one of the clients!! if you're looking for something that does all of this: - multi-agent: claude, codex, pi, opencode & more - use your existing subs - persistent terminals - localhost access to see the output - js console to debug - and you can send images to your agents! then you might wanna download shellular.dev now :)

86 hosts, 4 clients connected to Shellular right now. highest we've hit so far. feels good. still a long way to go. and here's what these numbers mean: host: your computer/VPS client: Shellular mobile app. higher number of hosts = people comfortable connecting their dev env through Shellular

I kept running into the same thing: I'd step away from my desk and have no real way to use my dev setup from my phone. The official apps only do one agent, and nothing gave me my actual machine. So we built Shellular — remote control for your whole dev environment, running on your own computer (Mac, PC, Mac mini, or VPS): - AI agents with a real mobile UI: Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Cursor CLI, Pi, etc., with slash commands, @ file mentions, approvals, model picker - Run persistent terminals without tmux - In-app browser + DevTools that opens localhost:<any-port> without setting up port forwarding. Run npx shellular, scan the QR code from the app, approve, done. Takes less than 2 minutes. Everything runs on your machine, so agents keep full context of your code. End-to-end encrypted. Available on both App Store and Play Store. Get it from: https://shellular.dev Star on GitHub: github.com/shellular-org

I spent the last couple of days traveling with my family, but still managed to ship several new features for Acode (https://acode.app). Most of the work was done using Shellular (https://shellular.dev), a project by Acode team (biraj shellular.dev, Raunak Raj). I used OpenCode agents, a terminal, file and diff viewer, and an in-app browser with DevTools to review code, make changes, test things, and push updates while away from my desk. I don’t think mobile development will replace a proper workstation anytime soon, but there are many situations where you just need to fix a bug, review a PR, or continue working on something without carrying a laptop around. That’s the problem we're trying to solve with Shellular. It’s still early, but using it daily to build my own apps has been a good test of what’s working and what still needs improvement.

  • we've shipped some cool updates 🫶

we just shipped some big updates to Shellular 🤩 here's what's new: → Cursor support - use Cursor from your phone. yes, really. → active session status on the home tab - see at a glance whether your agent is working, waiting on permissions, or done → bookmark and manage agent chats → fully redesigned agents tab UI → bug fixes & stability improvements across the app the goal with Shellular is simple: you shouldn't need to be at your desk to ship, and this update gets us a lot closer to that. if you haven't tried it yet, check it out at shellular .dev!
