Ibis Prevedello reposted thisIt's mind blowing to us how much manual work is involved with insurance verifications 🤯 - Checking online sources - Calling insurance - Creating documentation - EMR data filling - Contacting patients to explain their benefits to them All this work just to find out that the patient owes $25 for their copay, they have 20 visits for their visit limit and auth is not required 🙄 If you resonate with this pain and want this off of your hands completely, DM me and we can show you what an end-to-end solution looks like, not just a copilot solution. Loved chatting about the insurance verification problem! Thanks Dr. Karen Litzy, PT, DPT for having me on your podcastIbis Prevedello reposted thisWhat is your front office actually doing with the hours they spend on hold with insurance? In this episode of Healthy Wealthy & Smart with Hannah Kim from @lets.pocket we discuss: 👉Verifying benefits often means calling insurance directly, sometimes staying on hold for up to two hours 👉Every manually entered EMR field adds minutes per patient, multiplied across your entire caseload 👉One missed authorization requirement can turn into a denied claim weeks later 👉Automating verification doesn't replace your team; it gives them time back for patients Find out what's possible when the front office isn't drowning. Comment "podcast" below, and I will DM you the podcast!

Ibis Prevedello shared thisVoiceblox is now live 🚀Ibis Prevedello shared thisVoiceblox is now live at voiceblox.ai. 🚀 v0.8.1 is finally out. Sign up, build, and deploy a voice agent directly from the browser. Also in this release: → Gemini STT support in the builder → xAI STT and TTS, plus updated LLM and Realtime models #VoiceAI #VoiceAgents #AI #LiveKit

Ibis Prevedello shared thisIn this release to Voiceblox I added TTS voice preview and LiveKit Inference as a deploy option. Small release but useful changes.Ibis Prevedello shared thisVoiceblox v0.7.0 is out. 🚀 You can now preview TTS voices directly in the builder before deploying anything. And if you don't want to run your own Python worker, LiveKit Inference is now an option in the deploy flow. Also in this release: → SIP Transfer can now disconnect right after the transfer. → Interruption mode simplified to a plain on/off toggle. #VoiceAI #VoiceAgents #AI #OpenSource #LiveKit

Ibis Prevedello shared thisI implemented LiveKit adaptive interruption handling in Voiceblox and was genuinely surprised by how much it changed the feel of a conversation.Ibis Prevedello shared thisMost voice agents interrupt you the moment you make a sound. 🎙️ v0.6.0 ships LiveKit adaptive interruption handling. Also in this release: → Realtime agents. One multimodal model handles speech in and out, no STT → LLM → TTS chain. Supported: OpenAI, Gemini, Azure OpenAI, xAI. → 24 new providers across LLM, TTS, STT, and avatars. → Latency metrics. The playground now breaks down STT, LLM, and TTS latency per turn. Ibis Prevedello shared this✨ Voiceblox got a full redesign Floating panels, interactive canvas background, cleaner layout throughout. 0.5.0 also ships: → Input variables. Define variables in your agent and share a link. Anyone who opens it fills out a form before the session starts, no config on their end. → Zapier and Make nodes. Connect your voice agent to the rest of your stack without writing code. Link in the comments. #VoiceAI #VoiceAgents #AI #OpenSource #LiveKit

Ibis Prevedello liked thisIbis Prevedello liked thisSmall personal win from September... I hit 100 kg on the bench press again. The last time I did it I was 18 🤯 A lot happened between those two moments. Life came, I stopped training many times, and more than once I got overweight and unhealthy. The older I get, the more I protect my most important habits: weightlifting at least 4x a week, walking 1-2h a day, and sleeping well. I feel a big difference not only in my body but also mentally, and I have more energy for work and for my personal life. This September I also passed 4,000 followers on Hevy. I really love this social side of the app. People commenting on my workouts help me show up at the gym and not give up, even on busy weeks. 🏋

Ibis Prevedello liked thisIbis Prevedello liked thisIt feels like the first days of the App Store again.... This week at OpenAI Dev Day, they shared that 4,000+ plugins already exists inside ChatGPT. A few years from now, we'll look back at this as the moment a new platform was born 😍 So happy that Hevy got noticed and was included in the thank-you slides, together with companies I love like Spotify, and Notion 👏 It's still day one for plugins and in the next weeks we are shipping a lot of cool stuff...

Ibis Prevedello reacted on thisIbis Prevedello reacted on thisWith the latest ChatGPT update, the Hevy plugin now also works with voice. So I tested it: my last bench press, my consistency in the last 3 weeks, and a new leg routine saved directly to my Hevy account. No typing, just talking... Thousands of people already use it. Check it out here: https://lnkd.in/eZKuzKDU

Ibis Prevedello liked thisIbis Prevedello liked thisYour scheduler’s most valuable work keeps getting pushed to tomorrow. - The family check-in that keeps getting postponed. - The new caregiver who needs encouragement after a difficult first week. - The person who walks through the office door and could use a little time and attention. All of it waits while another caregiver coordination reply gets chased. A scheduler for an average home care agency costs $60,000 a year in salary, taxes, and benefits. $60,000 ÷ 1,880 working hours = roughly $32 an hour. You’re investing that $32 whether the hour goes toward repetitive follow-ups OR a conversation that helps a caregiver feel seen and supported. How a scheduler organizes her day determines what that investment makes possible. AI can handle routine scheduling outreach, response tracking, and follow-ups within the agency’s rules. The scheduler can guide that work, handle exceptions, and spend more time with the people behind the schedule. Your scheduler knows which family needs reassurance. Which caregiver needs more hours. Give that knowledge more room to make a difference. Of course, delegation to AI only works if the AI does the work well. The right match still matters. So does continuity of care. That deserves its own conversation, and it’s what I’ll write about next. Owners and schedulers: what keeps getting pushed to tomorrow in your office? #homecare #scheduling #aiinhomecare #continuityofcare

Ibis Prevedello liked thisIbis Prevedello liked thisWe just launched the Hevy plugin for ChatGPT 🎉 Ask about any workout, or build a program that saves straight to your Hevy account. ChatGPT already has all the context about your life. Now it has your training too.🏋️♂️ And it's just day one, we're working on exciting next steps to make this experience even better. Gerard wrote a great summary of the three things we believe 👇 https://lnkd.in/p/ehh3Dqc6 Link for the Hevy plugin in the comments 🧵

Ibis Prevedello liked thisIbis Prevedello liked thisAI is the new "cloud" buzzword in software. 🤷 I remember when I joined the healthcare market more than 10 years ago. So many companies were adding "Cloud" to their name, like "Company Name Cloud", as if that alone brought value to their customers. Most were delivering more of the same with a fluffier name. Now I open LinkedIn and every second company is "an AI-powered platform for..." and I finish the sentence without knowing what they do or what problem they solve. I loved a phrase I read recently from Lucas Prim: "AI serves the business, not the other way around. Start at the end, the outcome you want. Then work backwards to the technology. Never the reverse." I'm super excited about the potential of AI, mostly because it unlocks things that were impossible two years ago. One step of a flow that used to be a whole company is now an afternoon of work. But "possible" is not a reason. If you're not clear about the outcome, you just produce friction and move toward a bad product faster. The bar for product went up. Products need to be better thought through, and words alone don't make users excited. You have to deeply understand your users. AI can help with that, but it doesn't do it for you, and it doesn't skip the part where you dogfood your product, test it, and talk to users. My learning in one sentence? Don't delegate your product to AI. But if you deeply know your customers and have clear outcomes, it becomes a real superpower for your team.
