AI Skills Fest is complete—for now. Here’s how to keep the momentum

AI Skills Fest has come to an end, but it reflects a broader shift: people are actively engaging in AI skilling—learning by doing and through guided content.

Over the course of one week, we saw people across roles and industries jump in, taking part in live sessions and hands-on guided learning experiences. They tested ideas, built solutions, and pushed their skills further than they expected.

And here’s the real takeaway—AI Skills Fest was just the beginning. The most important part starts now: continuing to build skills, explore, and put what you learned into action.

From the festival floor: Human skills that are having a moment

AI Skills Fest brought home a clear message: as AI capabilities accelerate, the value of uniquely human skills is rising. Judgment, empathy, creativity, and collaboration are becoming more critical than ever.

Why does this matter for us as learners? Because AI is only as impactful as the people using it. As systems get smarter, human insight becomes the differentiator. We explore this theme in depth in our recent blog, AI needs more than intelligence—it needs humanity, which highlights why the future of AI depends on keeping people and human ambition at the center.

And this wasn’t just a theme at the event—it came through clearly in what we heard from you. Throughout AI Skills Fest and in the weeks leading up to the event, we asked: Which human skill will matter most in the age of AI? The response was clear, and incredibly consistent across roles and industries.

Ready to level up? Continue your skilling journey

AI Skills Fest wasn’t just an event; it was a starting point. The opportunity now is to keep experimenting, keep building, and keep applying what you’ve learned in ways that matter to your work. Small steps add up quickly.

The good news: there are more ways than ever to continue your skilling journey. We’re evolving Microsoft Credentials to better reflect how skills show up in the real world, with a stronger focus on role-based, scenario-driven learning and practical application.

As part of this shift, we’re creating new opportunities for you to demonstrate what you can do, not just what you know. This includes Microsoft Pro Badges, first-of-their-kind credentials that set a new standard for recognizing real-world skills and proficiencies demonstrated through everyday work. Explore the latest credentials.

Whether you continue learning through new courses, try out a prompt or agent in your daily workflows, or pursue a credential, we’re glad you’re here. Let’s keep asking questions, building our skills, and applying what we learn in our day-to-day work.

Hey Microsoft Learn, I completed the AI skills fest and submitted the voucher claim. I did receive the badge and the exam voucher, but I must have deleted it by accident. I can't find it at all. Is there any way you could resend it to me? I hope you can help. Thanks

Thanks Microsoft Learn for AI Skill Fest, got the voucher, badge and passed AI-103 AI Engineer developer Certification Exam. Great resources and study materials for agentic workflows building.

Thank you to the Microsoft Learn team for organizing such an incredible event! I participated in the AI Skills Fest and was thrilled to receive a voucher, which I’ve already put to good use for my DP-900 exam. To answer the question in the post—I'm most excited to keep the momentum going by diving much deeper into data engineering and exploring Microsoft Fabric next. I really appreciate the support in our skilling journeys!
