Building Power Together

Eugene Springfield Solidarity Network (ESSN) Jobs with Justice is the bridge between labor and the community. Our Network is dedicated to strengthening worker power across Lane County. We bring together unions, community organizations, student groups, faith groups, and individual activists and organizers to build the relationships, skills, and infrastructure needed to support organizing, win campaigns, and raise standards for working people. Our focus is simple: to build the shared infrastruture needed to mobilize when it matters most and build the power of the working class.

A Network You Can Plug Into

Beyond our public work, ESSN offers a members-only organizing platform designed to connect people doing the work. This space—built to support real-world organizing—allows members to communicate, collaborate, share resources, and coordinate actions across unions and community groups. Whether you’re a seasoned organizer or just getting involved, the platform helps you find your place, plug into campaigns, and build solidarity in practice.

Join the network. Build relationships. Grow worker power.

Getting started is easy

Sign Up to create your free member account and build your profile. From there, you can connect with local activists, organizers, and organizations, join or form working groups, and share resources with others doing the work.

This platform is free to use and open to both individuals and organizations looking to collaborate, build relationships, and support one another. It’s part of the shared infrastructure we’re building together, designed to strengthen our movement and grow our collective power. The only requirement is that you adhere to our core values of Solidarity, Diversity, and Respect and follow our community standards and rules.

Community Guidelines

  • Be accountable for what you post

You may use a username, but your account must be created with your real name. This is a space built on trust and real relationships. Knowing who we are organizing with helps maintain the safety and security of our movement.

  • Keep it focused on organizing and solidarity

Use the platform to support worker organizing, campaigns, and movement-building. Avoid off-topic posting or using the space for unrelated agendas.

  • No harassment, discrimination, or personal attacks

Disagreement is expected, disrespect is not. Engage ideas, not individuals.

  • Don’t dominate or disrupt

Make space for others. No spamming, flooding discussions, or derailing conversations.

  • Respect privacy and security

Do not share private conversations, personal information, or sensitive organizing details without consent.

  • Be Mindful of Digital Security

No digital platform is completely secure—be mindful of what you post and avoid sharing anything that could put yourself or others at risk.

  • Follow the law and protect the network

Do not use this space to plan or promote illegal activity that could put others or the network at risk.

  • Share opportunities, not grift

Organizations are welcome to promote events, campaigns, and fundraisers that support their work. Individual members should not use the platform for personal fundraising, financial solicitations, or self-promotion unrelated to collective organizing. Posts should contribute to the network, not exploit it.

  • No electoral campaigning

This platform is not a space for political parties, candidates, or anyone running for office to campaign, promote candidacies, or solicit votes or donations. Members are welcome to engage in issue-based advocacy, including ballot initiatives, legislation, and public policy campaigns that align with building worker power. Elected officials and politically affiliated individuals may participate but not to campaign or advance electoral efforts.

  • Build, don’t divide

This is a cross-organizational space. Avoid sectarian behavior, purity tests, or efforts to recruit people away from their organizations.

Platform Administration and Enforcement

ESSN reserves the right to remove content, suspend or terminate accounts, and take any other actions necessary to maintain the integrity, safety, and purpose of this platform. These decisions may be made at the discretion of site administrators and may occur without prior notice or debate.

At the same time, we are committed to building a strong and inclusive network. Whenever possible, we will make a good-faith effort to address concerns, correct behavior, and provide clear reasons for any removal or account action to the affected member or organization.
