My name is Visruth Srimath Kandali (विश्रुत श्रीमत् कन्दालै), and I am a statistics and data science student at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I'm broadly interested in Bayesian statistics, computational statistics/statistical learning, Monte Carlo methods, & stochastics. I'm also interested in functional programming & HPC.

I mostly do computational research, and am a member of the Stan development team. I've collaborated with professors at Cal Poly and Stanford. I'm keen to learn more, and appreciate recommendations for interesting books/papers/blogs/etc. For thoughts on some things I've read, see reviews. I'm a big R and Julia fan! Python is alright too, I guess. :) I enjoy learning cool new languages.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, writing, photography⁠, and music.
