I looked for every WordPress AI search plugin with a live demo you can type into. Three had one. The rest: videos and a signup form. I ran the same 10 kinds of query on all three, each on its own demo. I build one of them. Published what came back, the bad results too.

Everyone selling AI search says "100+ languages". I build one. So I tested five real catalogues in five languages and published the failures too. Two worked. Three broke.

Most "our search is broken" complaints I look into are not search problems. A store had a product called Water Bottle. Search kept ranking a thermos above it. The description on the Water Bottle record was about fridge magnets.

WordPress.org has been rotating 8 plugins through the Featured tab since March. Dozens have been through it by now. I went looking for one first-hand account of what it does to your numbers. There isn't one. So I logged mine.
