Tanager-2's first looks at Earth are in. 👀 🌎 And this week's #PlumeOfTheWeek is a big one.
🛰️ Just days after launch, we spotted a large methane plume from a landfill near Spain's coast.
Two Tanager satellites in orbit with @planet means faster revisits & action on emissions.
With Tanager-2 in orbit, California can look for methane leaks at more locations, more often.
Satellite data has already helped fix 18 major leaks in the state, equal to taking ~32,000 cars off the road for a year.
