Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition Interaktive Karten & Orte

Beamdog has looked at the Baldur's Gate map, database and Companion App and is fine with them, so you can use them without worry.

• FAQ - A new FAQ entry explains that the map and app are allowed and free for everyone under the Wizards of the Coast Fan Content Policy. Read the FAQ

• Map list - scrolling through all maps no longer stops loading the map pictures for a minute. Open the map list

• Traps - areas that start an event when you walk in no longer show as traps, like the spots in Beregost where guards arrive when your reputation is very low. They are now Event Triggers under Dangers and say what happens: "When the party enters with a reputation below 3: Your reputation precedes you! Guards have been alerted." plus the creatures that appear. Traps that can't be found or disarmed say so. Open Beregost
• Event Triggers - also say when they don't fire (while the party is invisible) and how long until they can happen again, like the 3 days (game time) between Flaming Fist ambushes.

• In Polish, Portuguese, Russian and Turkish, the Southeast district's Shop and General Store had the same name, so one of their map cards opened the other map. In Polish, Dragonspear Castle also shared its name with the Siege of Dragonspear world map. The second map of each pair is now numbered, for example "Zamek Smoczej Włóczni (2)", and each card opens its own map. Otwórz mapę

• Character Quotes - search every line the characters of Baldur's Gate and Siege of Dragonspear say, battle cries and banter included, and see who says it. Search the quotes
• Dialogue on character pages - every character page in the database now lists all of their lines with your reply options, in all 15 languages. The list starts collapsed because it spans the whole story.

• Companion App - now available to everyone: your party on the map and live enemy positions in the area you are in. Get the Companion App
