At Open Knowledge Foundation, we are concerned about how commercial brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) are rapidly moving beyond research laboratories into consumer markets, workplaces, healthcare, education and entertainment.
We want to influence how these technologies are designed, governed and deployed so they can become open tools to expand human agency rather than closed infrastructures that concentrate power over our cognitive lives.
