This is a great tool, the problem for me as a Hot Air Balloon Pilot is, i need to see the inversion near to the surface, but when all the figures are at ground level on the Red temp line, all numbers merge and i cant see if the temps rise until we are at a height that is not so relevant to Hot Air Balloons when the inversion effect has gone.

Thanks for this clear and useful tutorial. The point about providing a direct image URL is especially important, since some webcams may work normally in a browser but block external access or frequently change the image address. For anyone adding a new webcam, it is also worth checking that the image remains publicly accessible without login, the URL stays stable, and the camera updates images regularly. This should make the approval process smoother and help avoid issues when Windy tries to retrieve the images. It is also helpful to have the supported manufacturers and streaming software listed in one place. Thanks for sharing this guide.

Hi Windy team, I'd like to submit Sun & Moon Path 0.11.3 for review for inclusion in the plugin list. It is an open-source photography-planning plugin for the Sun, Moon and Milky Way, with cloud-distance references, weather comparisons and Chinese/English interfaces for desktop and mobile. The main updates in 0.11.0–0.11.3 are: Rainbow planning: map geometry for sunbows and moonbows, including secondary bows and full-circle views, plus daily geometric windows and durations. Sunbow condition assessment: forecast rain and sunlight information, with separate terrain and low-visibility references for the primary bow. Sky views: a sky plot and Galactic Center rise/set direction lines to help users understand celestial positions and plan compositions. Usability improvements: combined local date/time controls, more compact tables, improved mobile layouts and clearer bilingual guidance. Update reliability: regional GitHub/Gitee update sources, corrected caching and retry support. Rainbow windows describe geometry only, and condition ratings are not occurrence probabilities. Moonbows are shown geometrically but are not included in the condition assessment. Cloud distances are also geometric references rather than visibility predictions. These limitations are explained in the interface and documentation. Plugin: https://windy-plugins.com/17629746/windy-plugin-sun-moon-path/0.11.3/plugin.min.js Source code and documentation: https://github.com/bytepoem/windy-plugin-sun-moon-path [image: 1791447176810-1ef07497-5f5a-42a6-a252-efd09956bd29-screenshot-mobile.png] [image: 1791447194841-07d7bebd-2c42-48cf-b413-738f1195e759-screenshot-desktop.png] Could you please review this version for the plugin list and let me know if any changes are needed? Thank you!screenshot-mobile.pngscreenshot-desktop.png
