Daniel Funes Garcia-Penche ha compartido estoDaniel Funes Garcia-Penche ha compartido estoBig news!! We just raised €5.5M to keep building heydiga The part I’m most excited about is not the round itself, but what we can keep building with it. Today, heydiga already handles hundreds of thousands of calls every month for hundreds of businesses. That means less repetitive work for teams, and more time for the things where humans really matter. But it also means something important on the other side of the phone: customers get the answers they need, fast. No waiting. No missed calls. No calling back three times for something simple. That’s what we want to keep improving: better businesses and a better customer experience at the same time. Huge thanks to 6 Degrees Capital for leading the round, and to Kfund, Italian Founders Fund, Decelera, and an amazing group of angels for backing us. (special thanks for your continued trust: Thibault D'hondt Iñaki Arrola Sergio Álvarez Leiva Virginia Bassano Lorenzo Franzi Andreas Mihalovits Ian Noel Raquel Połgrabia) To Sergio Espeja and the incredibly talented heydiga team. Plenty more to build. btw: If you know a business near you that still misses calls or spends too much time answering the same questions over and over, send me a message. I’ll give them Heydiga free for a month. I have a feeling they won’t want to go back. :)

A couple of dollars of Sonnet. It's that low because the model decides almost nothing about what happens. Five posts on my feed this week comparing price per token across providers. If your agent bill exploded, the provider is the last place I'd look. Four things I don't pay a model for: 1️⃣ The order of work. My orchestrator is a fixed state machine: map the change, assess risk, plan the slices, write the failing test, implement, run checks, review, integrate. Nothing consults a model about what comes next. The plan is validated by code. A DAG with a cycle gets rejected. Illegal moves throw. 2️⃣ Anything a linter catches. Lint, secret scan, dependency audit and the repo's own CI run first, exactly as CI would run them. The model reviews what survives, which is a much smaller thing. 3️⃣ Risk tiering. It looks like judgment, so everyone hands it to a model. Mine is four tiers of weighted arithmetic over the diff: files touched, patterns present, service boundaries crossed. That arithmetic decides whether a human has to approve. 4️⃣ Whether a test passed. Running a test is a tool call with an exit code. Red verification rejects a test born passing, and a claimed test that never ran. No agent touches the network mid-run either. Inputs resolved once, frozen, hashed, so a run replays identically, and that frozen prefix is why the cache serves 99.6% of everything the models read at a tenth of the price. Opus never gets called. The one job that might need it is deciding what happens next, and that decision is code. I'm opening this up soon, and that's the part that makes me nervous. Every weight in the risk tiering was picked by hand, on repos I already know. Four tiers over a diff will misfire on a structure I've never fed it, and I'd rather find that case now than a week after the repo is public. So if you've got a codebase where "files touched, patterns crossed" would obviously score wrong, that's the one I want to run it against.

Daniel Funes Garcia-Penche ha publicado estoTwo years ago there were two kinds of engineers. - The one who read the ticket and built his part. Backend: here's your API. Frontend: here's the screen, wired to something that will send me data eventually. Infra: it's in Terraform, moving on. If it didn't do what the business expected, the spec was ambiguous. - And the product engineer. Went to his/her manager, understood what the feature was for, tested first, built after, instrumented the events business asked for, shipped, verified, and came back to the metrics weeks later to see if anything had moved. That second one already did everything people are selling today as new. So let me be precise about what actually changed. He/she spent most of his/her week writing code. Business was the edge of the job. Now the code is delegated to agents that know the conventions, the security constraints, the deploy pipeline, the monitoring. The edge is all that's left of the job. So it stretches. You don't get the feature handed down, you go find who you're serving and agree with them on the number that would prove it worked. There is no "my part" anymore. And the craft moves: if I'm not the one maintaining that line, I care less about whether it's beautiful and more about whether the decision behind it holds up. When it ships, you check that business has its numbers, the platform is standing, and nobody can walk out with customer data. Nobody got replaced. The rules changed, and they changed too fast. If you're vibe coding into a docker compose and asking DevOps to deploy it because you don't know how, that's not the direction either. Fine time to live through an industrial revolution. The ones after us will have it easier.

Daniel Funes Garcia-Penche ha compartido estoThis ad ran in Marvel comics in the late 50s. Replace "refrigeration" with "AI coding" and it could run today. Look at the structure. Booming industry, 20,000 technicians needed per year. Learn by doing, we send you the kits. Earn money while you train. Start your own business from home, no expensive equipment needed. Testimonials with real dollar figures. Mail the coupon, no obligation. Now look at how AI coding tools are being marketed in 2026. Anyone can build software now. Ship your SaaS this weekend. You don't need to know how to code. Here's a template, here are 3 prompts, here's a demo of someone building an app in 40 minutes. Same playbook. And the incentive is the same too: the company selling the course and tools wins whether you succeed or not. Here's the thing about that refrigeration ad. Some of it was true! AC really was exploding. Technicians really were needed. Some graduates really did build careers. But installing a unit that runs on day one was never the hard part. The hard part shows up in month eight, when humidity has been eating the coils, a line is leaking somewhere you can't see, and the compressor fails on the hottest week of the year. That's when you find out if you got trained or if you got sold. Vibe coding is the same. Your app works today. Great. What happens when you hit your first race condition? When the database that was fine at 100 users falls over at 10,000? When there's a security hole you don't have the vocabulary to even look for? "Take these 3 tools and let me explain 3 things" doesn't cover that. It never did. I say this as someone who builds with these tools daily. At my last company we built two multi-agent systems on Claude Code that took work from ticket to pull request. They made our engineers dramatically faster. Note the word: engineers. People who could tell when the output was wrong. The tools are real. The productivity gains are real. What's not real is the promise that the tool replaces the expert. It compresses the distance between knowing and doing, which is amazing if you know things. The 1950s guy who mailed the coupon AND put in the years became a great HVAC technician. The one who thought the kit was the whole job called someone like him two summers later. Just don't skip the expert.

We don't contemplate being anything other than the first option for any big logo. We're ambitious, we're hard workers, and no matter the specialty, the talent here is incredible. I'm very proud to be part of this. Innovation is in our DNA.Daniel Funes Garcia-Penche ha compartido esto9 Years of Service Club ®: Celebrating our team and our journey 🚀 We recently gathered to celebrate a major milestone: our 9th anniversary. Our history has always been tied to a "tech-first" mindset. We actually started our journey as Corellia, named after the Star Wars planet famous for its high-tech engineering and for building the fastest ships in the galaxy. Today, as Service Club, that same drive for innovation and speed remains at the core of everything we do. 🌌🛠️ While we used our anniversary to discover everything we have in common with Star Wars, the true highlight was the power of getting together. Beyond the technology, it’s our community and our people that make Service Club what it is. 🤝✨ A huge thank you to our incredible team for 9 years of hard work and dedication. We couldn’t ask for a better crew to build the future with! Happy Anniversary, Service Club! 🎉🥂 #ServiceClub #CompanyAnniversary #9YearsStrong #TechCommunity #Corellia #TeamCulture #Milestones

Daniel Funes Garcia-Penche ha reaccionado a estoDaniel Funes Garcia-Penche ha reaccionado a estoVery happy to share that my work is on Awwwards. Again. This is my third Awwwards nomination this year. The previous two projects received an Honorable Mention and a No-Code Honors award, so let's see how this one does. Over the past few months, I've helped Rozalia Boma bring her website to life, and it's easily one of the most whimsical projects I've ever designed. Inspired by her nostalgic, multicultural YA romances, we embraced a bold Y2K aesthetic with holographic backgrounds, floating emojis, magical mouse trails, a retro music player, draggable sections, a guestbook, a dress-up mini-game, and plenty of playful interactions. To be honest, I wasn't sure a project this unconventional would resonate with a platform like Awwwards. It breaks plenty of web design conventions, but it connects deeply with its audience. Users spend an average of 4.5 minutes exploring the site, which I'm pretty proud of. If you'd like to check it out or throw a vote its way: https://lnkd.in/eNhx4gHz

Daniel Funes Garcia-Penche ha recomendado estoDaniel Funes Garcia-Penche ha recomendado estoA fighter jet that can't fly is not a deterrent. It's an expense. On any given day, roughly 1,900 military aircraft sit out of service, capability that has already been bought and paid for, but isn't there when it's needed. For decades, the standard response has been to spend more. It hasn't worked. Our latest Defense research offers a different diagnosis. Readiness isn't held back by budgets, parts, or people. It's held back by how maintenance is run. And that means it can be fixed, with the same fleet and the same crews, in a matter of months rather than years. Read more.

«I had the pleasure of working with Dani, and there are several things that truly stood out to me. On the human side, Dani conveys a level of trust and empathy that naturally brings people closer. Working with someone who has this quality creates a sense of calm and confidence in the team environment. On the professional side, I witnessed how he helped transform Service Club by introducing a remarkable set of best practices and bringing a strong sense of experience and intentionality to every decision. From development standards to working agreements, Dani consistently ensured that the team was aligned and operating at a high level of quality. I learned a great deal from him as a professional, and I’m genuinely glad our paths crossed. I’m taking away a lot of valuable knowledge from the time we worked together, and I truly appreciate the experience of sharing part of my career with him.»

Yesterday I attended a very insightful event organized by Didomi, where I learned about the benefits of boosting Meta campaigns with Offline Conversions. Here are my key takeaways: • With the rise of multichannel journeys and affiliate/loyalty programs, retailers have a big opportunity to get more value from their data. • The standardization of server-side technologies like Addingwell by Didomi is helping brands improve campaign ROI. In one example, collecting just 10% more data led to almost +20% improvement in ROAS. • Charles Cortés (Converteo) explained how they implement server-side tracking at scale for large enterprises, showing that this approach is becoming a real no-brainer. • Meta has a strong capacity for dynamic audience building. By enriching the signals we send back to the platform, we can better feed its algorithm and significantly improve performance. As a result, accurate and enriched campaign tracking is becoming more important than ever to stay competitive. Thanks a lot to Carolina Seminario and Sergio G. for the invitation!
