needs debugging at

  • ensure proper call is passed to memrecycle:
    const char *ret = memrecycle(/*target=*/ans, /*where=*/R_NilValue, /*start=*/0, /*len=*/LENGTH(x), /*source=*/x, /*sourceStart=*/0, /*sourceLen=*/-1, /*colnum=*/0, /*colname=*/"");
  • check logic in memrecycle
