Create new module to contain analytic functions, starting with blackbody #3077
Shall I take a stab at this? "I shall name it Squishy and it shall be mine." Just kidding, I'll name it astropy.analytic_functions unless someone comes up with something better.
@pllim - that sounds fine for now. If you decide to do this, can you cherry-pick @skendrew's commits and then move the code? (rather than starting from scratch)

@astrofrog ,
pysynphotalready has an implementation of blackbody too. I'll see if I can get something that is best of both worlds.@Cadair , good observation. You have no idea how many times I had to watch that movie ;)

@pllim There are worse movies to watch on heavy rotation! It's awesome.

Ok, this has been done in #3094 - thanks @pllim!
