The README.md should give instructions to the user about building the tool from the repo's sources. As of now, it simply instructs the user to use Homebrew to install it.
Proposed solution
Provide instructions on how to compile the tool from sources while keeping the Homebrew section intact.
Additional context
For scope, I am a Linux user, and don't use Homebrew. However, there is a perfectly good set of sources to build from with no instructions on how to do so. With these instructions, I could then create a package for Linux for a managed install on my machine.
