WalkthroughMemory health now reads Dream enablement and agent details from the scoped Dream role status. Daemon dependencies and settings wiring provide the role resolver. Tests cover opt-in combinations, workspace scope, live updates, API responses, CLI output, and lookup failures. ChangesDream health reporting
Priority: ➖ Normal Estimated code review effort: 3 (Moderate) | ~25 minutes Severity of issue fixed: Medium Merge Risk: 🔵 Low · up to This PR corrects memory health to report the Dream role's effective enabled state consistently with roles list/show, matching the linked issue. The core behavior change looks solid and well covered by new integration and unit tests across HTTP, UDS, CLI, native, and settings surfaces. One remaining test-quality gap (a role-resolution-failure test that doesn't confirm the specific error message reaches the health reason) is a minor testing nit and not a functional risk; the change is safe to merge with that follow-up. 🚥 Pre-merge checks | ✅ 4 | ❌ 1❌ Failed checks (1 warning)

Merge current main into PR #609 for the authorized sequential squash integration. Preserve both impact records; no implementation changes.
Problem and result
Closes #603.
Enabling memory while leaving the Dream role disabled made
memory healthreportDream Enabled: true, even thoughroles show dreamcorrectly reported false and execution eligibility correctly prevented dreaming. The health read models were usingDreamTrigger.Enabled(), which represents the memory master switch.Memory health now uses the same non-invoking role status projection as role diagnostics. The result matches the effective role for the selected workspace; unscoped API and Settings health use the global role.
Implementation
compozy__memory_health, and Settings health. The projection resolves role configuration and does not invoke an agent or spend model tokens.Verification
env -u COMPOZY_INTERNAL_RESTART_OPERATION_ID make gate: passed, zero lint issues; all affected Go suites passed, including the daemon race suite (236 seconds). The unset removes a host restart-operation identifier that does not belong to isolated test databases.Real-run command:
CGO_ENABLED=1 go test -race -tags=integration ./internal/daemon -run '^TestDaemonE2EMemoryDreamHealth' -count=1 -v, using a binary built from this checkout. Local execution was on macOS; Linux validation belongs to CI. This does not claim a live model run or a separate browser walkthrough.CI and review remediation
The initial frontend check found an extra MDX blank line; the repository formatter corrected it. CodeRabbit requested a discriminating error fixture and named sequential live-scope subtests; both were added and their owning race/integration suites pass. Greptile withdrew its workspace-path finding after confirming that filesystem identity does not register a workspace and that unresolved scoped roles must remain degraded.
The Vercel image used Bun 1.3.14, could not parse the repository lockfile, ignored it, and installed newer packages that failed type checking. With the frozen Bun 1.4.0 lockfile, the existing schema passes the repository-root Turbo typecheck and production build. The site now pins
bunx [email protected] install --frozen-lockfilein its existing Vercel configuration, using Vercel’s documented install-command mechanism. This preserves the declared dependencies and runtime.Final delivery gates run in GitHub CI on the current head. The earlier local results above remain supporting evidence; owned local gates were canceled when the delivery instruction changed. All actionable findings from the complete first CodeRabbit review are included in one consolidated remediation commit; no second bot review is requested or required.
Compatibility and impact
Public JSON fields, native tool IDs/descriptors, CLI flags, configuration keys, persisted data, and hooks are unchanged. No migration, deprecation, data rewrite, or recovery action is needed. Existing role provenance and profile selection semantics remain owned by the role resolver; this change does not introduce new profile-selection behavior.
The Memory System guide, official Compozy memory reference, MS-011 regression scenario, and cross-surface impact audit are updated. Existing Web consumers receive corrected fields without a rendering or interaction change.
Detailed evidence and limits: focused QA report. Cross-surface audit: issue 603 impact.
Summary by CodeRabbit
memory healthcommand now provide consistent Dream status information.
