|---|---|
| internal/daemon/role_status.go | Projects checkpoint availability using the daemon-level compaction setting while retaining effective role and memory scope. |
| internal/daemon/role_resolver.go | Clarifies that the shared enablement predicate receives configured availability for status and actual applicability for invocation. |
| internal/daemon/role_status_test.go | Covers memory, compaction, role switches, invocation context, daemon/workspace disagreement, and profile overrides. |
| internal/daemon/role_resolver_integration_test.go | Verifies checkpoint list/detail output and parity across CLI, HTTP, and UDS using isolated configuration. |
| .github/workflows/ci.yml | Adds explicit race-enabled integration verification and test-convention checks for the affected role suites. |
| packages/site/content/docs/memory/system.mdx | Documents the distinction between checkpoint configuration availability and invocation-time applicability. |

First-review collection is complete: both reviewers covered
This is the single consolidated first-review remediation round. No second review or final-head reapproval is requested or claimed. Current-head CI remains a delivery requirement: https://github.com/compozy/compozy/actions/runs/34923743948 . |

In `@internal/daemon/role_status_test.go`:
- Line 209: Wrap each enabled and disabled profile-switch case in the loop
around the existing test in role status tests with named t.Run subtests using
the “Should...” naming pattern, so failures identify the affected role-switch
state while preserving the current assertions and behavior.

The requested named profile-switch subtests are present in 528f02b, and thread PRRT_kwDORy7nkc6iW7Ab is resolved with CodeRabbit marking it addressed. Dismissing this superseded change request as integration executor (Codex); this is not a new approval or second review. Remaining CI is tracked separately under the explicit main-integration authorization.
Consolidated integration dispositionSquash merge: The scope finding is fixed: status uses daemon-level compaction availability and effective role/memory switches while invocation gates remain intact. The roster-presence assertion and named profile-switch subtests were repaired in the owning suites. The missing-checker finding was withdrawn; the checker is tracked. All four threads are resolved. The stale change-request review was dismissed only after confirming the fix and its existing resolved acknowledgment. React Doctor is not applicable to this Go-only behavior. All pages of general/inline reviews and review threads, including outdated and collapsed material, were collected. Existing test owners were retained. Blanket docstring quotas and invitations to change reviewer filters do not override repository conventions and were not treated as production defects. No reviewer configuration, branch protection or published main history was rewritten. Validation: integrated-main CI — passed: 26 successful jobs, with only the PR-title job skipped because this is a main push. Heavy verification ran only in GitHub CI under the explicit user override. Authorship and verification are agent-based, not human approval. |
What & why
Closes #639. Checkpoint availability now follows daemon compaction configuration and effective role/memory switches. Ordinary invocations still require the existing invocation gate; status does not imply a summary ran.
Authored and integrated by Codex (GPT-6 Astra). No human verification is claimed.
Squash-merged as
3f93805b17a9e2a9e1e499b42bbb3d6ae9374796. All five PRs (#645–#649) are integrated and verified on main. How you verified it
Canonical role projection tests cover switches and isolation. The real CLI/HTTP/UDS role integration runs in CI. Both first reviews completed; valid scope, roster-presence and named-subtest findings are fixed. The missing-checker finding was withdrawn. The obsolete change request was dismissed after confirming its resolved fix; this is not a new approval.
CI-only user override: no local make gate, builds, tests, typechecks or React Doctor runs. Local work is limited to source inspection, formatting and diff checks. Final integrated-main CI passed on
e7e4a7e329499a56fa11b364ed453a1e9d5447f7: 26 successful jobs covering Go lint/build/race, frontend lint/types/tests/build, native Windows, real role/Goal integrations, and web/runtime/desktop E2E. PR-title validation is skipped on push; no applicable CI job failed or remained pending. All available general, inline, outdated and collapsed first-review findings were collected. One consolidated remediation round is authorized; no second review or final-head reapproval is requested. Generic docstring quotas do not override the repository's requirement to comment non-obvious intent rather than repeat identifiers; no reviewer configuration or check is changed.
Impact
Existing role list/detail CLI, HTTP/UDS and Web projection; no schema, config key, native ID, hook or SDK change. Memory guide and background-role QA scenario are updated. No migration. Official skill remains accurate.
Cross-surface audit:
docs/_memory/change-impact.md.make gatepasses locally; this PR is delivered only after its required CI checks are green — local execution waived by explicit CI-only user instruction.
