   Hi, could we add an option in the DatePicker widget to select only the year and month, and not the day?

   Then, we should set the date object with the user-selected year and month, and the day with the 1st day of the month (or a similar date).

   Currently, this is only somewhat possible by using custom widgets available in pub.dev that we have to include as a new dependency. It would be really helpful if this feature could be added to the material library itself.

   This is a requirement for one of my projects, and I believe it’s a very common use case. For instance, in a rent management app, only selecting the year and month for the payment from a widget eliminates the need for the day. Requiring the user to select a day as well is quite unintuitive.
