Description
Steps to Reproduce
When flutter doctor downloads dependencies, there are no indicators of what is going on. This is particularly important in places with slow Internet connections. I would expect a modern download CLI to include:
- download size
- % downloaded
- progress bar
- count of how many things will be downloaded (1 of 14...)
Flutter Doctor
$ flutter doctor

Install Android Studio from: https://developer.android.com/studio/index.html
On first launch it will assist you in installing the Android SDK components.

If Android SDK has been installed to a custom location, set $ANDROID_HOME to that location.

✗ Flutter requires a minimum Xcode version of 9.0.0.
Download the latest version or update via the Mac App Store.

Same situation, switched from master to stable and then started an app with flutter run.

Not sure about Windows/Linux, but you can check whether it's still downloading on Macs by opening up Activity Monitor, switching to the Network section, and looking for the
