Steps to reproduce
- Create new flutter app
- Paste code sample
- Run app on Android
- Video is playing now,
- Put the app in the background
- Open app from the background
- An exception occurs
Expected results
The video will start playing again without exception.
I tested this situation on iOS and work fine.
Actual results
After open app from the background an exception occurs.

I can also see the issue on my device
Pixel 7, Android 14. When bringing app back to the foreground, it only renders white background, need to wait a while for the video to render the frames.Demo video

I also encounter the problem in debug mode in Android 11, Android 14.
Reproduced on video_player: ^2.9.1 and Flutter stable 3.24.0
this problem not occur in Android 9.

Tried it, no issues with

It looks like this was fixed in video_player_android 2.7.6
video_player currently depends on video_player_android 2.3.5, so I imagine anyone with this issue would want to try the following:
I'm currently testing and will feedback if I still see this.
