@KiddoV thanks for the report. please share the complete error log. could you also test this with the latest XCode and the latest macOS if possible? does it happen with the counter app? please share your pubspec.yaml as well.

I could not replicate it with the counter app. I verified the IPA with transporter and it succeeded.

#7888 is an ancient issue which has similar message.

please share the complete error log. also, if possible, could you test this with the latest xcode and the latest macos? does the same issue happen with the counter app as well? had asked this earlier but did not receive a reply, so am checking again.

Hello @vashworth, thank you for your support. Are there any plans to include this fix in the beta or stable channels? If stable, could it be added as a hotfix for 3.38?

Hello [@vashworth](https://github.com/vashworth), thank you for your support. Are there any plans to include this fix in the beta or stable channels? If stable, could it be added as a hotfix for 3.38?

So technically there are 2 issues here - one is related specifically to native assets and one is related to all iOS apps.

Issue 1 - iOS apps using native assets

Apps that use native assets will have files within "build/native_assets/ios"

    Status: Fixed on main.

    Workarounds:

    • Option 1:
      • Use main channel - flutter channel main
    • Option 2:
      • Do flutter clean and flutter build ios --config-only before archiving.

Issue 2 - Other iOS apps (that don't use native assets)

Apps that don't use native assets will have NO files within "build/native_assets/ios"

Status: Fixed on main. Fixed on stable. Cherry-pick to beta in progress.

    Workarounds:

    • Option 1:
      • Use main channel - flutter channel main
    • Option 2:
      • Use stable channel - flutter channel stable

    This option works for me!

So, are people actually able to ship their iOS builds now? I see that this is closed, but this doesn't seem fixed.

Fixed on master (i've deployed my apps), check #178602 (comment).

People were claiming stable would work but it hasn't been for me. Trying main now and can move to master if needed.

main seems to do the trick.
