I got a crash with the following stack trace today while rendering a material button (which may or may not have a shadow):

Specifically, my steps to reproduce are: load the sector widgets demo (you'll have to wait for me to check that in), then hit add and remove a lot.

Haven't been able to reproduce this recently. Maybe it was fixed upstream? Marking it closed.
