Support Google AdSense in Flutter Web applications #40376

Description

@alex89607

I tried to implement the next script(Google Ad-sense) at my Flutter Web site, but unsuccessful by now. The code is:

<script type="text/javascript">var nend_params={"media":00000,"site":000000,"spot":000000,"type":1,"oriented":1};0</script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="https://js1.nend.net/js/nendAdLoader.js"></script>

I understood, that Flutter web is currently in technical preview, but may be any route? Any advice and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

    @alex89607 I would advise you to post it to StackOverflow as well.

    We will treat this as a request to support Google AdSense. We are not actively working on this right now. Perhaps someone outside the Flutter team could try building a plugin, but we expect some rough edges.

    the title doesn’t match the contained script a bit, admin it.

    @alex89607 I do not understand why the title should match the script.

    the title for "Google AdSense", and script for "nend.net".
    and then I want to write "the title doesn’t match the contained script a bit, I admit it."

    Ah, I was going off of the issue description rather than the script. We could certainly change the description and the script to match exactly what we want to do in this area. I think it's ok to leave it as is until we start actively investigating it.

    Just a comment, but the lack of a way to integrate AdSense and other monetizing (JavaScript) based solutions is going to seriously limit the adoption of Flutter for Web.

    @large

    REALLY strange that there is lack of support for showing ads in the web / macos / windows / linux part.
    What is the real barrier here?

    Google dont you wanna earn money? You are an advertisement company and for some reason there is no easy way to display ads on web and desktop. WTF? This issue is 6 years old...
