iOS Simulator no longer shows up in "flutter devices" #42751
I'm not sure what's changed, but today my iOS simulator doesn't show up in flutter devices (and therefore also doesn't show for selection in the IDE). I've tried restarting
$ flutter devices
3 connected devices:
macOS • macOS • darwin-x64 • Mac OS X 10.14.6 18G103
Chrome • chrome • web-javascript • Google Chrome 77.0.3865.120
Headless Server • headless-server • web-javascript • Flutter Tools
$ flutter emulators --launch ios
$ flutter devices
3 connected devices:
macOS • macOS • darwin-x64 • Mac OS X 10.14.6 18G103
Chrome • chrome • web-javascript • Google Chrome 77.0.3865.120

I should've run flutter doctor 🙄 The minimum version of Xcode was recently updated (#42254) and flutter doctor checks for this. I thought my Mac would automatically check for updates and tell me when there are some, but apparently not :-)

Hi I meet with the same issue and fixed by command flutter doctor command.
Xcode - develop for iOS and macOS
✗ Xcode installation is incomplete; a full installation is necessary for iOS
development.
Download at: https://developer.apple.com/xcode/download/
Or install Xcode via the App Store.
Once installed, run:
**sudo xcode-select --switch /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer
sudo xcodebuild -runFirstLaunch**
