setData stopped working in my flutter application. #56767

Description

@casualcoder404

I've been using firebase plugins inside my flutter app successfully for reading and writing data to firestore.

However from last month, I'm not able to execute
await Firestore.instance
.document('temp/w')
.setData({'hello': 1}).whenComplete(() {
print('done!');
});

But, get() is working fine.
await Firestore.instance
.document('users/$username')
.get()
.then((DocumentSnapshot doc) {
print('123: ${doc['username']}');
});

I found
firebase/firebase-ios-sdk#2167 (comment)
this but I have already signed in and authorized the user.

    I figured out that my app was exceeding the daily 50k free writes of firebase spark plan.
    But I didn't get any error in my log, mail or notification on my console. There should be some way to get notified.

    I hope this will help others having similar issue.
