iOS Context Menus incorrectly moves to the center between screens #60334
Hi @VladyslavBondarenko
Sorry, this is not a bug, this component only supports only one effect, for example, I want the position to stay the same, or a bubble effect like iOS message.
Like this, but the current component cannot support:
Oh I see, so the folder is at the same location on the screen before and after opening?
@YeungKC Do you have an opinion on what the API would look like for that, or how Apple does it? Currently in Flutter I think it appears in the same quadrant of the screen that it was in originally.
I've compared with the native context menu. It seems like the native context menu is centered only if the child has a preview different from itself (i.e when the context menu is active, a different widget/preview is displayed vs. when the context menu is inactive). If child == preview, the context menu opens and is positioned in-place. @YeungKC what do you think?
EDIT: Even with a preview it still opens in place rather than at the center of the screen:

Hi @YeungKC
could you provide your
flutter doctor -v, a minimal reproducible code sample how are you using it and describe desired result?YeungKC commentedon Jun 26, 2020

Hi~
Maybe more options should be added, such as targetPosition? More action widget display options, not limited to context menu action?
I think it should be split more flexibly. I can still reuse some widget when the effects of the widget are not satisfied.
In addition, I think this function can reuse components to #60298
