google_sign_in example app shows Error 401: deleted_client The OAuth client was deleted #83759
I haven't really worked on the google_sign_in or firebase plugins for a couple years. We used to maintain a Firebase project to manually test things such as auth. However, I believe the projects for the google-services.json and GoogleService-Info.plist in this project have been deleted. Or at the very least, they're not under my name and I don't know where they're maintained. @cyanglaz could also potentially know.
IIRC, I think the current googleservice config files are just placeholders. And we would manually test by creating our own projects and replacing the config files.

Has the underlying test account been deleted? Or did I miss some local setup?

@bparrishMines It looks like you set this up in flutter-team-archive/plugins#859. How is this managed?
(We should document the process for whatever the solution here is in the README for the future.)

It's been difficult to test #86436 without a working example app.

I'll add a CONTRIBUTING.md with information about how to set up a test project, and configure the example to use it.
