[Proposal][Android] Add ability to get device RoundedCorner #97349

Known Packages

It looks like Android 12 has introduced some nice features which allow developers to get the corner radius of a device. This is a potential game changer for designs at the edge of the screen.

Any chance this can be implemented in Flutter?

@goderbauer Can you clarify that the feature request for the Engine here is to plumb additional data through something like MediaQuery?

    Yes.

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be such an API at the moment for iOS :(

We could add support for it and just provide null when on an os or platform that doesn't provide corner radius.

One thing we can do is to return a hard coded value based on the current device. Not sure if that's what we want to do.

Moving this up in priority now that predictive back is on by default (see #178463).

If anyone wants to open a PR for this I would be happy to help review! Maybe @ivangalkindeveloper? Here's what I think we should do:

Should this be reopened since the linked PR only added Android support?
