The Tree_analyze workflow is failing with: PathNotFoundException: Cannot open file, path = '/home/runner/work/flutter/flutter/dev/integration_tests/new_gallery/windows/runner/utils.h' (OS Error: No such file or directory, errno = 2)
This is from the #include "utils.h" in the windows/runner/main.cpp file that is now checked in with your PR.
utils.h and other Windows runner files are generated from the createPlatforms in tasks/new_gallery.dart, which generates the runner files with flutter create when the task is run. But the runner files aren't generated before these analyzer workflows run.
Does this mean we'd should create and check in the entire windows platform runner files for new_gallery, instead of generating it dynamically with createPlatforms? With the PR as-is, it does seem a little funky and maybe fragile to use a hybrid tool-generated plus checked-in combination for the runner files.
Yea, checking them in is an option. I thought we checked in partial files for macos already, I was mistaken.
Checking in files is fragile too since the boilerplate has to be maintained. Changing the structure of the generated files willy-nilly isn't something we do since it's a non-breaking breaking-change (we don't officially support those files but changing them creates a lot of pain for users). Let me come up with something else. |

I decided to override the layout when the app is in testing mode. This seems a fine cross-platform fix. There is a risk it breaks some assumption somewhere though. Testing locally looks fine for what I can see. |

The tests were failing because the driver was assuming that the app was in mobile layout mode.
To fix this we've forced new_gallery to run in mobile layout when running tests.
