What happened?
On Mac gophercloud will incorrectly attempt to search these locations for clouds.yaml
/Users/<USERNAME>/Library/Application Support/openstack/clouds.yaml
$PWD/clouds.yaml
/etc/openstack/clouds.yaml
The problem is that #1 should be ~/.config/openstack/clouds.yaml as laid out in OpenStack docs. I believe this is caused by using os.UserConfigDir() in the config/clouds package which returns platform-specific "user config" dirs.
Now I do understand the benefit of using platform-specific "user config" dirs but this is not how OpenStack's official CLI behaves on Mac so I would consider it a bug.
