Proposal:

I delayed the removal from 3.12 to 3.15 half a year ago #125746 . I plan to handle this issue myself and submit the PR by the end of this weekend at the latest

Has this already been discussed elsewhere?

This is a minor feature, which does not need previous discussion elsewhere
