I build Orbi, an open-source agent that takes a GitHub Issue all the way to a release.
You label an Issue ai-ready. Orbi writes the change in its own worktree and opens a PR. A second agent reviews it against the Issue's acceptance criteria. Only the reviewed head gets merged, and a tagged release follows.
Orbi is built with Orbi. In its first month the repo shipped 570+ merged PRs and 70+ releases, and about 7 in 10 of those PRs came from the agent. I write tickets, read what it does, and step in when it gets stuck.
- orbi-build/orbi: the engine. AGPL-3.0, runs on your machine with your own model provider.
- Orbi Cloud: the hosted version. First 3 merged deliveries are free.
- One delivery, end to end: an Issue in someone else's repo, turned into a merged PR.
- What a merged PR costs: measured on real deliveries.
Years in JVM land (Grails, Groovy, Java). Trading systems, web apps, developer tools.
