Serving as a judge is voluntary and free of charge.
Globee® Awards does not charge a fee to apply or participate as a judge or to receive an earned judge eCertificate or eBadge. This applies only to judging participation. Judges who separately submit nominations must follow the same entry requirements and pay the applicable entry fees as all other entrants.

Judge applications are reviewed directly by Globee® Awards based on verifiable professional experience, relevant qualifications, program needs, and available judging opportunities. Selection and assignments are not guaranteed. No agent, consultant, individual, or other third party is authorized to influence the process or guarantee approval or assignments.

Globee® Awards Judging and Awards Process

The Globee® Awards use a structured numerical scoring process. Eligible nominations are reviewed by approved volunteer judges, and award results are determined from the resulting scores under the published criteria and thresholds. Payment of an entry fee does not guarantee an award, and an entry is not upgraded because it is the only submission in a category.

Overview of the Process

1. Entrants submit nominations through the applicable awards program.
2. Globee® Awards reviews submissions for eligibility and administrative requirements.
3. Approved judges receive nominations through the secure judging portal.
4. Judges review the submitted content, disclose conflicts, recuse when appropriate, and assign numerical scores under the published criteria.
5. Scores are reviewed for completeness, consistency, and compliance with program standards.
6. Valid scores are aggregated to determine each eligible entry’s final average score.
7. Awards are assigned according to the published scoring ranges.
8. Results are finalized and announced according to the applicable program schedule.

Globee® Awards may conduct administrative reviews, audits, or test assignments to protect the integrity of the process. A score may be excluded, and a judge’s participation may be suspended or ended, if the scoring or conduct does not meet program requirements.

Who Evaluates Nominations

Judges are currently working professionals, entrepreneurs, and business owners selected after review of their professional background, relevant experience, and the needs of the applicable awards program.

Selection as a judge is not automatic. Approval for one program or year does not guarantee approval for another, and approval does not guarantee any particular category, number of assignments, or continued participation.

Judges are selected for their professional experience, industry knowledge, and ability to evaluate the application and evidence provided. A judge is not represented as a subject-matter expert in every category or aspect of every nomination assigned.

Independence, Conflicts, and Recusal

Judges must evaluate only the information submitted with each nomination and apply the published criteria consistently. They must not allow personal relationships, outside interests, or information obtained outside the entry to influence a score.

Judges must recuse themselves from an assignment if they:

• have a personal, professional, financial, or competitive conflict of interest;
• are connected to the nominee, entrant, or nominated organization in a way that could affect impartiality;
• submitted or helped prepare the nomination; or
• cannot evaluate the entry impartially under the published criteria.

A judge may submit a nomination to a Globee® Awards program but may not evaluate that nomination. Recused assignments do not count as completed evaluations. A replacement assignment may be provided at Globee® Awards’ discretion.

What Judges Review

Judges evaluate the content and evidence supplied by the entrant. Each nomination is scored in four areas:

Achievement

The significance, results, and demonstrated impact of the achievement described in the nomination.

Main Content

The clarity, completeness, relevance, and persuasiveness of the written essay or video presentation.

Summary

How clearly and accurately the entry summarizes the achievement and its importance.

Supporting Materials

The relevance, credibility, and usefulness of the publicly accessible evidence supplied to substantiate the achievement.

Judges do not provide written comments. The process uses numerical scoring only.

Scoring Method

Judges select the applicable rating for each scoring area. The portal converts those ratings into points and calculates a total score out of 10.

The structured system promotes consistency, but professional judgment remains part of every evaluation. Globee® Awards does not claim that numerical scoring eliminates all subjectivity or bias.

Award Levels

Each eligible entry’s final award level is determined by its average valid score:

Silver	7.75–8.49
Bronze	7.00–7.74
No Award	Below 7.00

Entries scoring below 7.00 receive no award. Everyone does not win, and payment of an entry fee does not guarantee recognition.

Best of Category

Best of Category may be awarded to the entry with the highest final score in a category. This designation does not change the entry’s underlying Gold, Silver, or Bronze award level.

Score Validation and Final Results

Globee® Awards may review scoring activity for patterns that indicate incomplete review, inconsistent application of the criteria, conflicts of interest, coordinated scoring, or other noncompliance. The organization may exclude affected scores, reassign entries, require additional review, or disqualify a judge when necessary to preserve the integrity of the results.

Entrants receive their anonymous numerical scores after results are finalized. Judge identities are not connected to individual scores provided to entrants. Because the comment feature has been eliminated, written judge comments are not collected or provided.

Confidentiality and Information Security

Nominations are made available to judges solely for evaluation. Judges must:

• use the secure judging portal and keep account credentials private;
• access only assignments provided to them;
• not download, copy, photograph, record, screenshot, store, publish, or share nomination content or scores;
• not contact entrants or nominees about an assignment; and
• continue to protect nomination information after judging ends.

Assignments are hidden from judges after the judging period. Confidentiality obligations continue after access ends. Violations may result in removal, invalidation of scores, loss of recognition, or exclusion from future participation, as applicable under Globee® Awards policies and terms.

Entrants should submit only publicly accessible, nonconfidential materials. No confidential, proprietary, trade-secret, personal, or NDA-protected information should be included. See the Nomination and Entry Submission Process and Terms and Conditions of Entry before submitting.

Judge Participation and Assignments

Judging is performed online through the secure portal. Approved judges may receive an initial set of up to 10 evaluations, typically within approximately 48 hours. Approvals are generally processed on Fridays, Pacific Time, during active judging periods.

Completion of the initial assignments is subject to internal review for adherence to program standards. Additional assignments, up to a total of 50, may be allocated only after satisfactory review. Assignment allocation is determined solely by the program and is not guaranteed.

Judges must complete at least 50 valid evaluations in a single awards program, subject to audit, to qualify for that program’s verified judge eCertificate, eBadge, and public recognition. Evaluations that are recused, invalidated, incomplete, or otherwise not accepted do not count toward the requirement.

Standards of Conduct

Judges must provide accurate application information, follow portal instructions, evaluate each assignment carefully, meet applicable deadlines, communicate professionally, protect nomination content, and comply with conflict-of-interest and confidentiality requirements.

Globee® Awards may decline, suspend, or end participation; withhold or revoke judge recognition; and exclude affected scores when a judge provides false or unverifiable information, improperly accesses or discloses content, fails to disclose a conflict, submits unreliable or noncompliant scoring, misuses the program or its credentials, or otherwise violates applicable policies or terms.

Judge Recognition

Judges who complete at least 50 valid evaluations in one program, subject to audit, receive:

• a verified eCertificate displaying the judge’s full name, awards program, and year;
• a verified eBadge displaying the judge’s full name, awards program, and year; and
• publication of the judge’s full name and organization on the applicable participating judges page.

The eCertificate and eBadge do not display the judge’s company or organization.

Judges who complete at least 10 but fewer than 50 valid evaluations receive a thank-you email but do not receive an eCertificate or eBadge. The participating judges page also includes a general acknowledgment thanking other judges who participated and contributed their expertise, regardless of the number of assignments completed. Their individual names and organizations are not published under the list reserved for judges who complete 50 valid evaluations.

Judges who complete 50 valid evaluations by the 20th of a month receive their eCertificate and eBadge on the 28th. Completion after the 20th moves issuance to the following month’s cycle. Expedited or custom issuance is not available.

Limitations of Judge Recognition

A Globee® Awards judge eCertificate and eBadge document qualifying participation in a specific awards program and year. They are not academic, technical, professional, licensing, employment, immigration, visa, residency, or legal credentials.

Globee® Awards makes no representation about whether a government agency, employer, educational institution, professional body, court, or other third party will accept or consider judge participation or recognition for any purpose

Important Dates and Deadlines for the Judging Process

There are 10 different awards and judging for each happens during the periods listed below. If you have applied to participate as one of the judges then you will receive judge’s confirmation only when the judging period has commenced. You may apply to participate as a judge in any number of awards listed below. Judge’s will receive a separate eCertificate for each awards program.
