The Philippine Association of Realty Consultants and Specialists, Inc. (PARCS) is the country’s only organization for the premier real estate profession: Real Estate Consulting.
PARCS was incorporated on October 2, 2008 and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on November 11 of the same year with registration number: AN09301673.
Its incorporators included Alberto E. Filamor, Jesus Lagman, Fernando M. Miranda, Andre Rioult, Victor T. Salinas, Filemon N. Saromo, Jaime L. Yaneza, and Eleuterio Zaballero.
Subsequently, its by-laws were amended by the Board of Trustees consisting of Carolina Q. Alvarez, Vicente R. Amigable, Jr., Marie Yvonne T. Apad, Domingo D. De Vera, Rafael M. Fajardo, Ma. Cristina R. Legaspi, Fernando M. Miranda, Jr., Victor T. Salinas, and Robert Marie C. Sy.
Objectives
PARCS was created for the following purposes:
1. To forge unity among duly licensed Real Estate Consultants for and in the purposes of having a combined influence upon matters affecting the real estate and construction industries to promote the economic growth and stability of the country and the welfare of the people, in general;
2. To promote and maintain high standards of conduct in the real estate consultancy service business, and all other related service businesses;
3. To recommend new legislations and amendments to existing laws, ordinances, rules and regulations, as may be necessary for the attainment of the government’s objectives in land and housing developments;
4. To define problems and issues confronting the real estate and construction industries, including, but not limited to, those involved in the realty service business, such as brokers, appraisers, consultants, and resolve – those that can be addressed by the association itself, or initiate programs or activities in cooperation with other trade and service organizations, government institutions or agencies, and the likes, to forwith realize appropriate policies or solutions therefor; and
5. To exercise, perform, or undertake other acts and deeds which are deemed necessary, proper or incidental to the attainment of the above-said objectives and purposes.
